"Trashing the Wedding Dress".Is it really Trashing the Wedding Dress?

"Trashing the Wedding Dress". Is it really Trashing the Wedding Dress?

The latest rage in America is "Trashing the Wedding Dress" after the Wedding day. This will make many brides and (Mum's) blood run cold. However it is not as bad as it seems, it is just a difference in phraseology between our friends across the pond, and ourselves. Their idea of trashing is very different from ours. So let me introduce "Trashing the Wedding Dress" UK style. As a professional photographer many great photographic opportunities on the wedding day are missed, because it is important that the greatest care is taken with the dress on the day, so as not to damage the it too much, and so it should be. However when the day is over what do you do with it, most will pay over £100 to get it cleaned then a further £25 for a nice box to put it in, so that it can be ceremoniously incarcerated in the loft to be taken out now and again just to see how many pounds the bride has put on over the years.
The alternative, is to come back from the Honeymoon with something to look forward to. That is a whole selection of photographs taken in places you just could not have imagined could be used, places where you may or may not wish to damage the dress but if you did it would not matter like it would on the day.
The above shots were taken on the beach, and in the sea, the dress dried and the sand brushed off no lasting damage, but wonderful images that will be the envy of all those that have not heard of it, or those who have, and have not had the courage to try it. Would you like to have wonderful unique images like the above in you wedding album, or indeed in a separate one. Of course you would . Be the envy of all your Friends and just do it , I am sure you will not regret it.

Taking a rest at Pilgrims Rest

We have been fortunate to have been given the opportunity to produce the photographs for Martin & Kim Brooks's wonderful new holiday cottage complex. These cottages have been converted to the highest standard, and will provide the most wonderful place to stay when visiting Torbay. As you will see from the pictures above, no effort has been spared in producing units of the highest standard, every detail has been meticulously taken into consideration.
We were requested to produce images that paid justice to the development so that they can be used for the brochures and web site.
It would be a travesty not to have top class images to promote top class Holiday cottages.

A welcome rest at Pilgrims Reast.

Luget's refurbishment Images

Photographs for "Lugets Gentlemans Outfitters"

I was pleased to be entrusted with taking the images for the refurbishing of Exeters longest established Mens Outfitters, almost 200 years of trading in the city.

It was a pleasure to again work with Martin McCully of Milkand2, to produce images for Luget's new webb site. In addition to those images, I also produced the images being put forward to Devon Life to cover the re opening event.

The refurbishment brought the shop a little more up to date, at the same time rating it's feel of quality, which is to be expected with Lugets as the Tailoring and accessories are the finest available.

It was therefore a welcome challenge to capture that quality in the images. I hope you will agree this has been done.If you would like to check for yourself by logging onto http://www.lugets.com/
you can see not only my work but the wonderful selection of merchandise that they offer. also look at the images above this article
